Prof. Dr. Baranowska is an international legal scholar who works at the intersection of international human rights law and migration. Her expertise lies in the areas of disappearances, border violence and the law of memory. She has been a member of the UN Working Group on Involuntary and Enforced Disappearances since August 2022.
